Created by American iconographer Brother Simeon Davis, this original icon of the Queen of Angels exemplifies the radiant colors, fine detail, and fidelity to classical iconography that has made the Monastery Icons collection the most beloved Christian art over the past forty-one years. This icon is one of a kind and will no longer be available once it is sold.

This heavenly depicts the glory of her heavenly throne where, surrounded by the angelic hosts, she stands in serene dignity and power, as her Divine Son blesses us. The letters on either side of Our Lady's halo are the abbreviation for the Greek words meaning "Mother of God."

This icon is painted on 1/4-inch non-tempered artist's hardboard measuring 22" x 28". The artist used matte fluid acrylics which replicate classic egg tempera. The background is painted. The icon has a protective artist's grade acrylic varnish. Created in the year 2002, the painting includes the artist's "signature" in tiny letters: "by Simeon 2002," as is traditional in iconography.

If you are not entirely satisfied with any item, return it to us within 30 days for an exchange or refund. (Exceptions: Only pre-authorized returns for custom items, including banners, CP and CH size icons, cathedral-size icons, and large or customized orders for other items.)

To ensure proper credit for your account, enclose a copy of the invoice in the box with the returned item, and indicate your reason for the return. All items must be returned in sellable condition.
